Bee pollen is just flower pollen, probably with a little bee saliva mixed in. There's no way to know what kind of pollen—it could be ragweed or some other common allergen. Severe allergic reactions to bee pollen have been reported. In fact, bee pollen is useful only for bees—it's the main food of the drones in the hive.
